On October 18, 2024, a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the integrated hydrogen production and refueling skid-mounted equipment jointly developed by Shanghai H-Ray, ENRIC (Langfang), and Guangdong Rising Oriental. The exhibition site was bustling with activity, as numerous experts, scholars, industry elites, and media representatives gathered to witness this significant moment. Senior executives from Shanghai H-Ray, ENRIC (Langfang), and Guangdong Rising Oriental attended the event in formal attire.
At the beginning of the event, Mr. Dalin Hu, Vice President of Shanghai H-Ray, introduced the product being celebrated at the ribbon-cutting ceremony: the RYZER-20CMH-16-CON model PEM water electrolysis skid-mounted integrated hydrogen production system, custom-made for the client. This equipment has garnered significant attention for its low energy consumption (4.1 kWh/Nm³) at high current density (20,000 A/cm²), wide power fluctuation tolerance (10%-120%), high consistency (maximum deviation ≤35 mV), and low hydrogen-in-oxygen levels (≤0.5% at 1.6 MPa and 10% rated power). This customized, fully integrated skid-mounted PEM hydrogen production system can produce 50 kg of high-purity hydrogen (99.999%) per day. When paired with ENRIC's compression and refueling skid, it can meet the daily hydrogen production needs of Guangdong Rising Oriental's forklifts.
Subsequently, Mr. Wei Cao from CIMC Hydrogen explained that the integrated skid-mounted Hydrogen production equipment, combined with the compression and refueling skid-mounted equipment manufactured by ENRIC, can meet the daily refueling needs of Guangdong Rising Oriental's hydrogen-powered forklifts. With a refueling pressure of 35 MPa, a single-bottle forklift can be refueled in just 3 minutes, while a dual-bottle long-range hydrogen-powered forklift can be fully refueled in 5 minutes.
Finally, Mr. Wei Liu, General Manager of Guangdong Rising Oriental Co., Ltd., stated that choosing the PEM water electrolysis system manufactured by Shanghai H-Ray and the compression and refueling system manufactured by ENRIC was a "perfect combination." This highly integrated equipment can address the small-scale, high-purity hydrogen needs of industrial users. With a production capacity of over 20 standard cubic meters of high-purity hydrogen per hour, it can meet the daily refueling needs of 30 hydrogen fuel cell forklifts, significantly reducing the client's costs for hydrogen transportation, storage, and refueling. This lowers the operational costs of fuel cell forklifts and enhances the project's economic viability and user experience.
The skid-mounted and compact design of the hydrogen production and refueling equipment allows it to be deployed quickly in various scenarios, greatly improving the convenience of hydrogen energy applications. Whether in urban areas, industrial parks, or transportation hubs, these small yet powerful devices provide solid support for the widespread adoption of hydrogen energy. As the global energy structure undergoes rapid transformation, hydrogen energy, with its clean and efficient characteristics, has become a shining star in the future energy landscape.
The collaboration among the three parties, through customized design, manufacturing, and integrated control of the project, optimizes the management and operation of integrated hydrogen production and refueling, representing an innovative move in line with current trends. We look forward to the full arrival of the hydrogen energy era and jointly witnessing the glorious rise of China's hydrogen energy industry.
